doubleTwist desktop makes it easy to invite your friends to join doubleTwist through Outlook and Facebook. Once your friends are using doubleTwist, sharing with them is as easy as dragging & dropping the files you'd like to share:
doubleTwist's "home" tab has a notification area that shows when new files have been sent to you by friends. doubleTwist desktop automatically downloads files to your computer. You can then play or view files within the application:
3) Syncing
doubleTwist lets you sync iTunes playlists with several mobile phones, MP3 players and game consoles. Our application also supports syncing music you've purchased from the iTunes store.
During installation you'll be asked if you want to liberate purchased songs. Make sure this box is checked. doubleTwist will automatically convert songs to MP3 after the installation process is complete.
If you did not check the liberate your songs checkbox during installation, you can do so at any time by clicking on the checkmark button in the notifications window in the "home" tab:

When you connect your Nokia N Series phone to your PC, you'll be prompted by your device to select a sync mode. The message you'll see on your phone's screen is similar to the one below. If your phone supports Mass Storage, please select Mass Storage, otherwise select PC Suite (the latter requires you to have PC suite installed):
When you connect your Sony Ericsson phone to your PC, you'll be prompted by your device to select a sync mode. Select File Transfer and you are good to go!
Make sure your PSP has a memory stick inserted and navigate to the settings menu to select USB connection mode:

To sync, connect your Kindle to your PC using the USB cable and go to the sync tab in doubleTwist. Once you're done syncing and unplug your USB cable, you can listen to your playlist on your Kindle by scrolling to Menu and selecting Experimental and choosing Play Music.
To stop playing music select the Stop Music option or the Alt+P keyboard shortcut. You can skip to the next track using Alt+F.

If after connecting your device you see a window on your PC similar to the one below, and you want to share media directly from your device, select Share media using doubleTwist desktop. Otherwise, close the AutoPlay window.
If you want to sync your doubleTwist photos to your iPod, you need to enable iTunes photo sync by following these steps:
Step 1 - Plug-in your iPod or iPhone
Step 2 - Go to iTunes
Step 3 - Under "DEVICES", select your iPhone or iPod
Step 4 - Make sure "Sync photos from" is CHECKED
Step 5 - Choose "Selected folders" (alternatively, you can choose to sync "All photos")
Step 6 - Make sure the folder "doubleTwist friends" is CHECKED
Step 7 - Click "Apply"
